Visual Response- Designing Development

When starting my publication I found it difficult to decide what to put on each page, finding the content was easy I just needed to put the appropriate content together.

The main things I want to mention in my publication:
-Who made American Apparel
-What is American Apparel?
-American Apparel photographer
-Dog Range
-The Eldest Model
-Controversy in young girls and porn stars
-Why do they use helvetica?

I started to make small thumb nails, organising where to put what content, I want the adverts that I have made to reflect the information on the other page well.

The whole document will be set in two columns to keep it simple and clean like American Apparel.

For the front cover I was inspired by the American Apparel carrier bag. I was originally going to use image, but I couldnt find an image that I liked enough to put on the cover and I was worried that it might not be of a high quality, so I just stuck to the type.

There is so much imagery that I could use in this newspaper, however I want to keep it minimal like American Apparel, less is more.

Every page I stuck with the two columns to keep the publication consistant. I also tried to make the headlines with impact so people would actually read my content.

The adverts that I have created, each one will be put on a full page to draw attention to them and try and get people to notice the image change, I have done this for a higher impact.
