Here are some retro social networking posters that I have found, I think this would be a good idea for designs if I was doing how social networking has changed out generation, however with the brief I can only use two colours plus stock, to make this high impact I think I would need to use a lot more colours.
I love the typography on the posters, how with each one it fits the theme of the poster, and almost manipulates the original modern day logos of the social networks. The brown, worn, textured background immediately makes you think its retro and vintage. I like how on each on there is a cheesy figure advertising the social network and what it does, I think it is a great concept.
